Whilst watching Keeping Up With The Kardashians (it's my guilty pleasure) I noticed that Kim was wearing a necklace that I found familiar. Well as it turns out my Uncle had bought me the exact same one a year previously from Turkey. Osmanli Taki is the name of the brand so this prompted me to have a further look on their website, they specialize in silver jewelery and have some beautiful designs that really evoke a Middle Eastern design. I have included a picture of the necklace and encourage you to check out the various collections.
(Apologies for the hair and make-up...I remember having a bad face/hair day!)
I would like to apologize for being MIA from my blog, the truth is after a software update I found it impossible to log onto blogger and after playing with various cookie settings, I am back online...
Make sure that you are following me on Twitter in times of crisis such as these ;)
Anne Hathaway is looking F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S on the November 2011 cover of US Vogue and I think many would agree, its one of the best covers in a while. The cover was shot by Mario Testino and Anne is wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown...
Update: Further images from the shoot are released and Anne looks stunning in a variety of regal gowns - the styling, hair and make-up are all together so chic. It one of the best celebrity magazine spreads that I have seen in a while.
The other week I was invited by Expose Communications to an event hosted at Matches Fashion by Fashion Consultant Iman Pasha. It was initially just a shopping event until Iman realised she could use the event to support the charity Behbud, which is helping with the relief effort after the disastrous Pakistan floods. I went along with Wafa, editor of Sketchbook Magazine to the event at the Marylebone High Street boutique.
Iman worked for some of the biggest companies in fashion such as Vogue.com before she decided to create her own brand, I hope to get a full interview at a later date. All items were personally picked by her from Yves Saint Laurent to Acne and the crowd consisted of her friends, clients and press. It was a truly fashionable events event which raised an amazing £2500 for the charity.

I have been looking for a perfect pair of biker boots to wear this winter as there are ideal for everyday wear in this unpredictable weather. Biker boots have been coming back in season after season so they are definitely an investment item for the wardrobe. I have been of a few of my favourite sites and found a few pairs that I think are on trend for A/W 10.
Burberry never fails to impress and after making their last season Aviator shearling jacket a must staple for A/W 10 and making it a must have for high street shoppers also. This season they have taken on relaunching the biker jacket and fusing it with the classic trench into what I would like to call the 'Triker' jacket... you heard it hear first! I loved how Bailey played with pattern and texture from the sumptuous satin dresses to the fierce studded snakeskin biker jackets. The show was definitely full of covetable items, I can definitely see the various biker trousers and the 'Triker' jackets being a big hit the fashion pack for S/S 11. I just can't wait until next season!
I loved the colours and textures that Wakeley showed at her S/S 11 show, from luxurious caramel to high sheen fabrics for ideal Summer luxe wear. Beautiful drapery was a focal point for the show with many of these feminine pieces given an edge with metal hardware detail on the dresses. The shapes and figure enhancing silhouettes are perfectly complimented by the simple accessorising and bare faced make up for a perfect relaxed S/S look.
